Had an awesome stay here, it was great. All of the employees were super helpful, and courteous. Daniel, and Alex Garcia at the front desk really went out of their way to make our stay great!! The rooms were a reasonable size, and the mirror in the bathroom was awesome. Room service was great also! Everyone was super nice, and friendly. Jose Real is one of the best doormans also! very nice and sweet. The DJ is awesome. Food is great there also. I recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Miami. « less

The Front Office Supervisor and General Manager handled this immediately. Had a couple issues with my room...the front office supervisor came to our room to personally apologize and move us to another room... Had a fabulous stay. The entire stay is friendly and accomodating. I will definitely be back soon! « less

Here's all the plusses: Daniel at the front desk was superb Room was of adequate size with large closet Room was quite soundproofed Beds were comfortable AC worked well Sundeck was very nice with hot tub On site dining was above average Free Shuttle to airport Very close to beach and nightlife
Cons: No pool Only mirror was in bathroom, none in bedroom only one garbage can (in bathroom)

Do not get a room on the first floor because there is a dj that plays in the lobby nonstop on the weekends until 12am. I am a night owl, so I depend on mid day naps. They give you happy hour from 7-8pm. It was great! The bartender's name was Star and she was awesome. She makes great drinks and knows about all of the hot spots in Miami. We took her advice and had so much fun. If you drive, don't use valet (it costs $32 a day). On 7th and Collins, two short blocks away is a parking garage that charges $20 a day. Also, the front desk did not have the free club passes that they promised. « less

Stayed at the Chesterfield with my son at the end of April and booked/prepaid online. No issues with check in or reservation. I'm from Toronto and only had 2 days in Miami so we wanted to fit in as much as possible the short time we were there, location is amazing. The photos online looked over the top - animal print lobby furniture did not disappoint. Lobby is dark, rooms are dark but there was plenty of sunshine outside so who needed light. Room was small, bed and pillows were excellent. Enjoyed Happy Hour and bartender Kristina's service. Concierge gave great advice for dining. Beware the free shuttle bus does not have air conditioning, however you can catch the nicely chilled City bus to airport only a block away for only $2.35 which we did on our way in. Other than a very unusual heavy scent/aroma in the stairwell and hallways no complaints. Chesterfield did not disappoint . « less

I am very glad to read that you and your son had a great time while staying with us! The location of our property is great, with a short walk to everything it makes it so convenient! We do keep the personality of our hotel dark yet sophisticated. I see that you were able to take advantage and enjoy our complimentary cocktail hour from 7-8pm! Our staff knows about all of the hot spots to dine, party, lounge at. Our shuttle does have A/C it is just currently not working and we have to bring the shuttle in for a mechanic to repair that.
We hope you stay with us again on your next visit to South Beach.
