I have nothing but nice things to say about this hotel , it scores well on all issues but one , rooms, location, breakfast , service, staff , everything was great, only one small issue , the check in time of 4PM, we reached at 2.00 , I got the impression that we might get the rooms early ands right away , and began to help off load the bags, only to be told that we would get the rooms at 4pm, so we went and had lunch, when we came back at 4pm, we had to wait another 20-30 mins before we got the rooms. The reception staff were polite and clearly helpless at what obviously appears to be a housekeeping delay or problem. Other than that a very pleasant stay « less

When we arrived at the comfort Inn it started out as a great stay the breakfast was great,the room was clean and the shower was great. Then everything went downhill, it started when the dogs next to us started barking for over an hour I went to the desk to ask for help and all I got was I will call the room, when there was no answer the person at the front desk told us we had to be patient and wait which ended up being 2 hours total wait time. Then next morning same response I can't help you until the manager comes in on Monday. « less

I have a DJ service and I had a wedding on Sunday April 28, 2013 in Kill Devil Hills. The bride suggested that I look into staying here because she had previously stayed so I checked it out and was pleasantly surprised at how nice and clean the property was, considering that it wasn't even "in season". I didn't try to breakfast bar but the bride said it was very good. We had a Groupon coupon so we got the room for $69, which is a steal for an ocean front room. Overall I was pleased with the property! « less

There was always coffee in the lobby,which was nice as it was chilly during our stay in NC. The price was perfect for our needs. The room was a good size as so was the bathroom.
