We arrived to OBX early and they let us check in early at 12:30! We loved it that the 2nd floor we were on enabled us to access the beach from a walkway. Great afternoon! Friendly and welcoming staff. Will plan to stay here again.

Staff were wonderful, friendly, and helpful. From front desk to housekeeping everything was amazing. Breakfast as great and Jean was friendly and took care of us and all our questions, even the cook came out to see if we had everything we needed. The rooms were very clean and we loved being on the oceanfront. The shower was also good with good water pressure. Loved the coffee available every morning and evening in the lobby. Convenient location to the entire area. We look forward to staying there again!

Property Description

The Ramada Plaza is centrally located in Kill Devil Hills at MP 9 1/2. Our oceanfront hotel offers sleeping rooms that face the city, the dunes or the beautiful Atlantic Ocean. All guest rooms have a private balcony, microwave, refrigerator, & coffee maker as well as free Wi-Fi. For those needing event/meeting space, our Grand Ballroom offers 2900 square feet of space along with ocean views. We also have a smaller board room style meeting space on the ground floor. Food and beverage for these events/meetings may also be purchased. Otherwise for independent travel, we do have breakfast served daily in the Breakfast Lounge (not included with your stay) and in the summer months we have Beachcombers Tiki Hut serving dinner, generally Tuesday through Saturday. In the off season, we have a special To Go Menu from our pop up Burger Lounge.

Our main Ballroom is 2800 square feet of meeting space that separates into 3 sections, Currituck 1232 sq. ft, Pamlico 800 sq. ft, Roanoke 946 sq. ft. also attached to the ballroom is a 1150 sq ft Pre-function Corridor. In addition to the Ballroom on the 4th Floor we have another 665sq ft banquet room, Albemarle Room, that will also separate into 2 rooms. The Ramada Plaza Hotel has a restaurant that is used for private meals and meetings as well as social events.
