This property answers to everything one would expect from the Holiday Inn Express brand, a middle class hotel with spacious rooms and complimentary breakfast buffet. We arrived early (1PM) and were given a room right away so that we could drop off our luggage freshen up get on the road to see the quaint little village of St Michaels which is a twenty minute drive from the hotel. We would return/recommend this hotel and paid a fair rate for the area. « less

Thank you for taking the time to post your review. I was sorry to read that you did not get a good nights sleep due to some "roudy guests". I will follow up with the desk clerk that was on Saturday evening (?) Our Hot Breakfast consists of eggs, meat, biscuits, choice of 4 assorted cereals, assorted yogurts, milk, hard boiled eggs, assorted muffins, breads & bagels with butter and jellies/cream cheese, bannas, and our famous Pancake Machine. I hope that you enjoyed a wonderful breakfast before your departure. Our juice machine is located on the breakfast bar......I am not sure how you missed it. And yes, we provide bottled water to all of our guests! I hope that the next time you are staying in Easton, that you will give us another chance, please contact me personally.

Admittedly, I'm much more of a 5 star and B&B kind of girl so this type of place is definitely not my preference. That being said it was conveniently located, had super nice staff, was clean, had free wifi (which those damn boutique hotels always charge you for) and came with a continental breakfast. Coffee was drinkable, but for anyone who is gluten & dairy free, your choices are way limited. I had a hard boiled egg after trying the "cheese omelette." Probably made of Eggbeaters and CheezWhiz, nothing that I would ever consume, but the lovely server saw I had left it over and offered to make me something else. Which is super sweet. The breakfast would work for most Americans, I expect. It's just not my thing (nor should it really be anyone's if they're trying to eat clean and healthy).
So, in summation, perfectly fine place, with the added benefit of an awesome and helpful staff. I just wish hotels would start providing some gluten-free & dairy-free options. « less

Dear Urbangypsyt, Thank you for your review. I am glad that you decided to give our hotel a chance even though you are used to the 5 star hotels. While i am pleased to hear that you were satisfied with our cleanliness and staff, i was disappointed to hear that you were not satisfied with our breakfast. We do have a brand mandated breakfast so we don't have a lot of room to make changes to our breakfast, but we are looking into what we would be allowed to offer to have more gluten and dairy-free choices. I appreciate you bringing this to my attention because i know that we probably have guests who feel the same as you. I hope that the next time you are in Easton Md, you will stop in and see us!

I travel extensively for work and am a Platnium member so I've seen a lot of Holiday Inn Expresses. The rooms at this location are very clean and comfortable. Traveling for work electrical outlet I place a high premium on. On the desk in the room they have added an extra 3 outlet and 2 USB outlet. This is a great idea since everything that we now carry has to be charged. I would highly recommend this location. « less
