I have stayed here for years and always enjoyed it here. The neighborhood has got worse over time but the hotel is still great. The beds are awesome, rooms always clean. I recommend this place if passing thru. The pool and hot tub both are nice and well kept. The breakfast is better than most hotels. « less

If you have a car and want good service this place is great! It has a great value for what you pay for. Room rates are very reasonable and the rooms themselves are suitable. They are not stunning to look at but comfortable nonetheless. The locations is in a remote part of town so you will need a car. Nothing to walk to, but this hotel offers pretty much everything you could need anyways, so no need to go out unless you want to drive somewhere. I liked my visit and felt very welcome by the manager. He was quite hospitable along with all of the other employees I interacted with. They really made the stay top notch. This place hit all the right notes at all the right time. I will be visiting this little place again. « less

The hotel was right off of a main highway, you can literally see the highway from your room if you have "the view" that we did, maybe a couple of hundred yards from the hotel. It's located right outside an industrial park in what seemed to be a bit of a depressed part of town. It was an older hotel that I think was just remodeled and it only had one elevator toward the back. Many trucks in the lot and truckers/regulars in the hotel at the breakfast and evening "kick-back".
The room was clean. They provide smoking rooms and you can smell the smoke as you walk-through certain areas. So if that is something that effects you, this may not be the place to stay.
The staff was extremely helpful and pleasant, some of the nicest people we have met in awhile. Fresh popped popcorn, breakfast and "eats" with drinks at the evening "kick-backs" is always a great part of staying at a Drury.
I would recommend to anyone looking for a clean hotel, an attentive/pleasant staff and the "Drury-type" ammenities you come to expect from this chain. If you want a hotel with a "main street" location where you can walk around, this isn't it. Only 15 minutes (driving) or so from Downtown Denver. « less

Management response from Drury Hotels, Manager
Thank you for staying with us at the Drury Inn Denver East in Denver, Colorado. Thank you also for your comments regarding our large flat screen TV's, free 5:30 Kickback including 3 free drinks each night, our free hot breakfast, our indoor/outdoor pool, and our great staff. It appears you experienced and enjoyed many of our free amenities that are included at all Drury hotels. You mention the smoking area, which is located in one portion of our 4th floor. We treat this area daily hoping that guests will not experience the smoke smell, but it appears you had something come up during your stay relating to this, and we are sorry for that. Please visit us again, and should you have anything come up during your stay, please get with a member of our staff to fix the problem at that point. Thanks again!

Stayed here the last week of March and was impressed with the updates rooms and baths. I felt the staff did their best to accomodate me with an early check in and late check out (a few hours each way). I appreciated the hot breakfasts and the snacks at the 'kick back' after work. I will stay here again in the future and will not hesitate to tell my family, friends, and associates about this hotel. Keep up the good work DI! « less

Testimonials: Why use Hotel Planner?
"My team and I had a great stay at the Marriot Norcross last week. I was unable to meet up with Ms Vanita and unable to passed her a box of Godiva Chocolates I bought for her. We will not even bother to seek other hotel-planning-organization after we have used your great service. You can even quote me on this. Meanwhile, we have to make 2 trips to the states every year from now onwards and will definitely use your services. Once again, thank you for making our trip a success." O.S. - Atlanta, GA
"Trust me your website is not remaining a secret! We loved our stay and our conference was great too! Thank you for everything!" M.B. - Columbus, OH
