There are tons of hotels beside MSP to choose from and I have stayed at many over the years. This one is quite nice! Me personally I prefer a Springhill or Hampton over a full service hotel becuase it is normally easier to park and get in and out of the hotel.
This hotel is newer, internet speed is great, the staff was maybe a little less nicer than some other Springhill's I have been too (but some of that is based on the location/culture of the city you are in).
All in all, the rooms were clean, internet worked great, amenities were nice, and location was great to MSP or MOA. I will likely stay here again in the next month or so. « less

The location was perfect, close to MOA and the airport. We left too early for breakfast, but from the look of the set up, it was going to be good. Only a minute drive to the east parking of MOA, so you will love it if you are going to shop. If you like to see planes, ask a room with airport view, you will have an amazing view for take off and landing!
Just an issue for the last day, no housekeeping... We got more towels from the front desk, but was hoping for something else!

Looking for a cheaper Marriott property close to the airport, I decided to give the SpringHill Suite a try. When I pulled up, I was a bit put off. It's certainly close to the airport - like right by the end of the runway. But I went in anyway having arrived past the cancellation deadline.
For being as close to the runway as it is, it's actually not that noisy inside. My room had very effective double-glass windows that cut much of the noise. It's off in a field to the northeast of the Mall of America, so that's handy for people interested in a place to shop and stay.
Once inside, this property is brand spanking new and you forget about the surroundings outside. The staff is gracious and efficient. The free breakfast was typical of a property at this price point. For you waffle fans, there was a regular vanilla-flavored batter and a whole grain batter. The coffee was not that good, but it was there and free.
The rooms are spacious for the price, and efficient for business. The bed and linens were more upscale than I remember from my last SprillHill Suite visit, and the bathroom amenities (though in tiny bottles) were nice as well.
I usually stay over at the Courtyard about a mile to the west. For the price, this SprillHill Suite is a better option for me and a bit more convenient. The airport noise is no worse here than the road noise over at the Courtyard. « less
