I told the clerk that we were not stqying there due that there were bed bugs. I was double chrged for services not rendered to my credit card to add insult to injury!!! Staff is rude and unprofessional!!!! Never again!!!! « less

The Good: There was a t.v., and a bed. The Bad: Located in a very bad part of town, extremely poor cleaniliness, horrible breakfast by even continental standards, did I mention is was filthy, poor was murky. What can I say? This hotel has that "Bob Crane was in my room watching violent porn" feel to it. Stains on all the furniture...which are circa the 70's i believe. Room is very dark with extremely poor lighting. Best is the breakfast: Toast, Muffin, aging fruite, or cereal. Too many choices. lol. Seriously it's a poop hole. I' travel alot, and have stayed in may a hotel. I really don't expect too much. Choice Hotels should be ashamed. « less

Stayed with the family (3 children) during the july 4th weekend. Was pleasantly surprised with the condition of the hotel. We booked the room with 2 beds for $60 for each night and it was worth it considering the rate in the nearby hotels was $70-$80. The hotel was clean for the most part. Only little wear and tear to the property, understandly when the front desk guy told me it was the oldest hotel on the street. Rooms were nice, beds were comfortable, pool was sparkling clean with warm water. Front Desk was very helpful with directions to everywhere in the city. Just minutes to downtown. The area may not be considered the best but I guess its not the hotel fault. « less

Bugs (hundreds of cockroaches in one room, a variety of bugs in the other) kept us from eating in room. Breakfast was advertised on flyer in room from 7-10; actually times were 6:30-9:30 and not available at all at 7:25 on Sunday or Monday when we tried to get in. No 24 hour coffee as advertised as office was locked up tight until breakfast hour, whenever that was. Office did not answer phone at 10:30 pm after 50 rings. My husband tried again and they finally answered after 20 minutes of ringing. « less

We stayed here during our stay in San Antonio for the kick off of Fiesta. We looked for someplace to sleep, since we would be out and about most of the time. This place had the right price and the amenities we needed. I was actually impressed when we got to our room; it was better than I expected. The room was SPOTLESS, and a very good size. It had a fridge and microwave as well as free wireless internet. The neighborhood was quiet, even for being on a busy street. The neighborhood was not the best, and it was a little out of the way, but it was perfect for what we needed it for!! « less
