Sassari is a charming, medieval city on the northwest coast of Sardinia. It is full of art, history and culture and piazzas around every corner. I spent an entire day hopping, from MUS'A Museo Sassari Arte to Museo d'arte contemporanea Masedu to Museo Nazionale Sanna. The collections of art are like nothing I've ever seen before! Not to mention the stunning white sand beaches just a few miles north that are among the best in the Mediterranean.
