I prepaid and booked this hotel 10 months ago because of the good price and I thought I was booking the new Tacoma downtown location. The Fife location is extremely different from the downtown one. We, including our four week old baby, arrived at the hotel on a busy Friday night at 10pm, we couldn't find the hotel entrance but saw all the casino entrances. I popped into one of the smoked filled entrances and asked security how to get to the hotel as they were checking people's IDs and they said that was the hotel entrance. We had to show ID and go through a metal detector to get to the lobby. I even asked them if kids could go through there with a stroller and they said yes. Definitely not our kind of place to bring our kid into a smokey casino, the crowd and vibe were also questionable. We scrambled to find another hotel to stay in that night and cancelled our weekend stay at this Fife location. Because I prepaid through a 3rd party the hotel can't refund us, though I hope the 3rd party will.
