I am sad at the hotel booking process does not allow someone to choose ocean view or island view. We found hair on our towel; wasn't the biggest issue? The bed was very comfortable. Slept well? The walls are kind of thin.

While in town to attend a wedding. We stay here at the Islander. The customer service was lousy. The property was in disarray. Had trouble finding a parking spot on the property. We were only able to get three TV channels and unable to get anyone to give a damn about it. This place was advertised as having Internet and cable which it did not. I will be looking to stay somewhere else the next time we are in the area.

The inn was a nice change to chain motels. The room was spacious, the pool and pool deck well appointed and close to the ocean. Varied selection of breakfast items. We enjoyed our visit to the Islander Inn.

Could use some new flooring in the hallway. Staff was very friendly and the contineal breakfast was good also. No nasty carpet in our room. Hard floors. Very clean! Pet friendly. Beach side. We would stay here again.

The property was nice and location amazing. The owners need to invest in upkeep. Mold around shower faucet, door to porch didn't close right, carpets needed care. Just needs some TLC but otherwise good. Pool was great.

We arrived at 2:30 PM with check in being at 3. They told us our room would not be ready until 3:30, with us having a wedding at 4PM. This started our trip off extremely stressful, but the manager and staff were quick to hand clean the room for us so we could get ready for the wedding. It appears they might have overbooked with not enough cleaning staff. Our room was spacious, but it seemed very out dated for how expensive we felt the hotel was for one night. the bathroom especially needs a major remodel, the shower walls were cracked and seemed to be falling apart. Additionally no floor length mirrors in the entire room made getting ready difficult. We wanted to watch TV before bed, but it is quite small and the picture is sub par so we felt we could barely even watch TV in our room. We did not use the pool, but it did look nice but on the smaller side, The beach access was amazing and convenient and we enjoyed the general location of the hotel. With a remodel it would feel completely different!
