This was hands down, the worst hotel experience we've ever had. It took over 2.5 hours to check in and when we arrived at the room, the keys didn't work. We called down to have it fixed and were told to go BACK TO check in. WHAT A WASTE OF TIME! When we got to our room, the non smoking floor REAKED of cigarettes and marijuana. EVerywhere stunk like marijuana. How could you possibly choose this as one of your stay to play hotels? I am absolutely disgusted!

I am handicapped came in with walker no seating in lobby no wheelchair. No assistance at all devastating. No bottles of water in rooms small bottle $275 unbelievable. Our refrigerator did not work. Called for assistance five times no one came I will never come again and will be sure to spread the word of our experience and the checkout man said he did it charge us for second night that we were going to stay but dud not because of the terrible Service. The receipt shows we were charged please correct.

Room is clean, beds are comfortable. Customer service manager was really rude. Rooms were not ready when checked in. Pool closed at 6pm. Plus you need reservation for the pool and there is a time limit of one 1/2 hours. My room was definitely not sound proof. Heard my neighbors sexcapade from beginning to end. Lol. Not what I wanted to listen while Im in the room. So that pretty much sums how my relaxing weekend went.

Overall was not as expected. Floors was a little dirty and bathroom sink was a bit dirty as well. We had to check out one night earlier and look for another hotel because we weren't as pleased.

Worst hotel experience ever. Rooms dirty and outdated. Check in took literally two hours and staff weren't helpful at all. They looked overwhelmed to the point where they stopped caring about customer service or feedback. 30 mins wait for elevators every time we wanted to go up or down. It was ridiculous the queues and queues of people waiting for four elevators. Definitely won't be going back.

A very poor stay at a very poorly organized facility. Tropicana is using/exploiting the Hardships posed by Covid 19 to cut back on staff and essential services While Still exploiting guests in every possible way! What a piss poor experience! No guest services, no concierge, no availability of front desk assistance. no room cleaning. No clean linen. Not much of anything. very poor signage throughout the facility. What a crummy experience! A major rip off. Tropicana management should be jailed and/or executed for having pulled off a major White Collar Crime that is equivalent to any extortion, fraud or bait and switch scheme I have ever seen!

I've stayed at the Trop in the past and the rooms were nice, clean and roomy. I stayed in the West Tower this past weekend and it was such a disappointment to say the least. No bureaus, no ASHTRAYS in a smoking room, only three towels but I paid for FOUR people to stay in the room, no extra pillows or blankets, no coffee or water and when called the front desk for coffee, it never arrived. Took three four calls and an hour wait to finally get the towels, pillows and blankets. People were rude, bell hops annoyed. One piece of luggage was returned with the zipper ripped off. And another piece of luggage had everything soaked inside from the cooler that the bell hop placed on TOP of the luggage.

I was very disappointed with our stay at Tropicana. The rooms are so outdated. The light switch in the bathroom barely worked, the door to the bathroom was hard to close and made an awful noise. Just not what I expected for how much it cost to stay here. Would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Caveat Emptor "Let the buyer beware!" Tropicana Atlantic City is a very poorly run facility intent on exploiting and extorting guests for maximum profit! Nothing works properly here. No administrative support and when one is fortunate enough to get a call through to some office, one gets only a recording telling the caller that "this or that service is not available!" No concierge service. No room cleaning service. No fresh towels or linen. Even the vending machine on our floor was out of order. It appears as though Tropicana is using the pandemic as an excuse to cut back on services while still fleecing its guests for maximum profit! Poor signage throughout the facility. We would really think twice before again making reservations at Tropicana Atlantic City! A major rip off!

Filthy room, rug not vacuumed in the hallway and in the room. DIRTY BATHROOM was not sanitized. Walls were dirty and chipped paint everywhere. One elevator with access to the garage which made it very frustrating for a lot of your guests. We had to use the stairwell to gain access to our cars.. The stairwell was very dirty and the lighting to see was very dull. VERY DISPLEASED with the WEST WING of this property. Needs to updated with everything ASAP. I will not recommend this property to anyone.

The staff was the best I've ever encountered. They remembered me from one day to the next and made sure I was satisfied with everything and evennmade sure to help remind me where my car was parked. The hotel I a throw back to the 70's but was very clean and comfortable. I would definitely recommend this place.

Also the mattress was all speongs so whenever you laid down you could hear the springs compact. Pair the with the squeaky bathroom door and squealing shower and the noises did not allow for decent sleep. Also, they did bot clean the room after our first night so we were very disappointed, especially after paying such ridiculous a fee for the room and a resort fee.

Aside from the fact that our room was not swept (candy and toenails) and the bathroom was outdated and gross with grout peeling everywhere and a faucet so old my daughters couldn't work it, the elevators are in serious disrepair. The chains or pullies in the system are on the fritz because you can hear them banging constantly ALL NIGHT FROM THE ROOM so I got no sleep this whole stay. In addition, the elevator doors apparently do not have sensors on them, since they closed a few seconds after we tried to get in and caught my two small daughters and hurt them one in the shoulder and one in the fingers. They're athletes so they can't be getting hurt like this. The one with the finger injury is still in pain. UNACCEPTABLE. Not to mention the charges for the room were not what I agreed to. Will never stay again, telling family and friends the same since we travel A LOT for sports and work.

At least not in the West Tower. Casino area is decent. Nice selection of restaurants but rooms. Especially bathrooms, are dated and sparse. No table, no decor on wall, wood floors. feels like a dorm. Beds were comfortable. A LOT of riff raff and walls are thin so you hear every sound. Drunk, young party people etc. Kicker: some water is seeping up through our floor. I put a towel down overnight and towel is now wet. Leaky pipe? No idea. But it smells like a musty basement and it's gross. Not sure what other towers are like but these rooms are NOT worth the price of two night ($350 with "resort" fee and parking?? That's a joke".
