Property description

The Renaissance Resort at World Golf Village is North Florida's most recently designated member of the Florida Green Lodging Program at the One Palm level. This golf resort and convention center specializes in finding the perfect balance between expert convention and event planning and genuine hospitality. We are proud to offer the following services:•All 300 deluxe guestroom accommodations, including 30 one-bedroom suites, have all new furniture and soft goods, as well as the addition of flat screen televisions. The bathrooms in the guest rooms and suites are renovated with new granite countertops. Guest room corridors have new carpet, new wall coverings, and new paint.•The entry of the resort has a new marble floor. The 10-story atrium lobby has a Colonial/Asian theme with new furniture, new soft goods, new fixtures, an enhanced waterfall and stream, and lush foliage throughout to fit the Asian theme. Additionally, the lobby features new conversational seating areas positioned near the resort's bar. The bar is remodeled, as well as the adjacent restaurant. Both received new furniture and soft goods, and the restaurant's entry has been moved to the lobby so that guests will not need to walk through the bar to enter.•The St. John's County Convention Center, which is attached to the Resort, offers over 40,000 square feet of contiguous state-of-the-art meeting space. All meeting rooms have new carpeting, wall treatments and new wall sconces. Also included in the renovation are new flex-back meeting room chairs. •As the home of the World Golf Hall of Fame – golf is the prime recreational activity at the World Golf Village. Our resort has hosted the Liberty Mutual PGA Tour Legends of Golf Tournament – a nationally televised Senior PGA Tour event held in the Spring of each year. As an alternative banquet and meeting venue, the World Golf Hall of Fame offers an excellent site for receptions, dinners and other VIP events for all golf enthusiasts.•Our two world-class championship golf courses are the “Slammer & Squire”, named after Hall of Famers “Slamming” Sam Snead and Gene “The Squire” Sarazen; and the “King & Bear”, the only course in the world ever collaboratively designed by legendary greats, Arnold Palmer and Jack Nicklaus.•Transportation from the Jacksonville International Airport can be provided by the following services:Destination Planning CorporationAirport Shuttle of St. AugustineAirport ExpressService must be pre-scheduled.
