"Great Place for Hospital visits"

My wife had to have a procedure done at the Ochsner Hospital on Jefferson Hwy. I was surprise to see that the Brent House is actually all connected with the Ochsner Hospital. We knew she would be spending the night and with the Brent House being connected with the Hospital, it was a great place to stay. We arrived on a Sunday afternoon, had her procedure done Monday mid noon and she stayed in ICU that night. I was able stay in her room until visitor hours were over and all I had to do was walk back to my Hotel Room. Beats having to drive home or to a hotel somewhere else. I never had to step outside for any reason; all my walking was done inside. There are places to eat breakfast, lunch and supper without having to leave the Hotel. You can tell that it's an old Hotel, but the rooms were great, up to date and very relaxing, I will recommend to anyone to stay there if they have to do the same thing we had too.

Been coming here since 1974. Fell in love with the atrium. Its quiet rooms are very large. The food is very good. The pool, especially the hot tub is therapeutic, very well kept and is just an overall nice place to relax. The atrium is another nice place to sit, journal or just relax and you can also eat a meal in private if you wish.
