We arrived late in the evening and found a group of people smoking weed outside the office. We checked in and went to our room. It was absolutely filthy and we left immediately. Went to the Front Desk and asked for a refund. He offered us an upgrade but we declined. He then said that since we had booked through a 3rd party (which we thought we had called the hotel directly) that he would issue the cancelation from the hotel and I'd have to deal with the 3rd party to get a refund. I've been in touch with the 3rd party and they issued me a voucher but not a refund. I'll deal with that but bottom line was very unhappy with the whole situation. And the Days Inn should be better than this.

Property Description

The Days Inn Harrisburg North, the hotel overlooking the beautiful Susquehanna River, is the ideal destination for vacationers as well as corporate travelers. Our guests enjoy spectacular views from their spacious rooms. All of our guestrooms are furnished with either a king size or two extra long double beds. Our kings are equipped with a lounge chair and ottoman and oversize worktable with chair. Our double beds have a table and two chairs for added comfort and space. Every guestroom is equipped with iron and ironing board, hairdryer, full-length mirror, coffeemaker, free HBO and ESPN2 on a flat screen TV, AM/FM clock radio and free wireless high speed internet access.We are conveniently located off of I-81 at Exit 66 which allows for easy accessibility to the many area attractions such as Hershey Park, Gettysburg, and Amish Country Lancaster.We are Central Pennsylvania's most convenient hotel facility and pledge ourselves to provide attentive service and genuine hospitality to make each guest's stay memorable. We look forward to welcoming you to the Days Inn Harrisburg North.
