Just north of Milan, facing the most romantic lake in the world, Hotel Barchetta Excelsior is located in the heart of Como. This elegant lake-town is surrounded by green hills and has a mild climate throughout the year. Being the silk capital, Como features plenty of fashionable boutiques. The Hotel Barchetta Excelsior is a member of Villa d'Este Hotels and has a dominant position located within the main piazza, Piazza Cavour on the lakefront. It was built in 1893 and quickly became the most important hotel in town, as well as a meeting point of the local aristocrats.There are 84 rooms, 80 of which are twin or double bedded.
