The building seemed to be eroding on the outside, huge pieces of paint trim falling off the overhang. Outside trash barrel completeley filled to capacity during our stay. In the room, no hangars, no fridge, no blow dryer, no microwave, no refrigerator. I thought we were getting a king bed.. if it was a king it sure seemed small more like a queen. The person who checked us in was very nice.

We've stayed at several Red Roof Inns and found this one disappointing. The room wasn't very clean, there were four old flat pillows, a dirty tub (some kind of smear on the temp. control). There was no coffee maker, Fridge, microwave or sitting chair. We asked about this and were politely told that because we had made an Expedia reservation, there was nothing they could do. We had booked a two night stay. The front desk did offer use of their microwave, but because of our worries about social distancing, etc., we thought this might be risky. We're disappointed at the the clear double standard displayed by Red Roof Inn for online versus in person bookings. We were not made aware of this difference. It seems below industry standard to not at least offer a basic coffee machine for an $80/night room. We hope that Red Roof Inn can help us prevent this bad experience again as we've mostly enjoyed decent lodging at a fair price at other locations. Sincerely, Peter and Laurie Asche 207 8440161.

I have gone to this property for 10 years and love coming. This time I stayed Friday night to Sunday. When we got back at night, the beds were not made, no fresh towels were put back in the room, I was missing a prescription bottle of my pills and my iPad charger and cord. I had looked through the whole room underneath and around everywhere and didn't find anything. Then I got home and emptied everything out of my bags, my items were not there. I called the Salem NH motel and told them everything and they said they didn't have anything in lost and found and nothing could be done. Ended up being very disappointed in this stay.

This property really did not meet my standards of what I would have expected from a Red Roof. The A/C did not work in our room, bugs were found in both rooms we had. One room had the iron and ironing board hanger but no board or iron. The other had nothing also. For the Quality that Red Roof portrays I would have expected more.

Book the room was the worst expectancies I ever had booking a room. I was miss lead by travel parter.com The lady is spoke with miss lead me that I was speaking to the desk in at the Redroof inn in Slam NH. Do right lied about the price. Finley told me I was talking to the Phippines. Her English was very poor. I never book a red roof again unless I can talk directly to the property.

I arrived at my hotel they gave me my room wasn't clean yet. Went back to the front desk got to send another room went there somebody else were staying in that room. Went back to the front desk they gave me a key to another room the door did not work I had to have the maid help me. I asked for a superior king and I did not get a superior king I had no refrigerator no coffee maker which is what I paid for. Never coming back.

When we first walked into the room, we could smell smoke. The odor had permeated the room, so that was discouraging. There were only two sets of towels, so we had to ask for more. No tissues. The room was sufficient for what we needed it for, a quick sleep before moving on.

Property Description

This is a charming, quiet hotel within one mile of many fine restaurants and tax free shopping. Boston Express Bus Depot is within walking distance for a fast trip into Boston. We are pet friendly and children under 17 stay free. We are located 2 miles SW of downtown Salem. Traveling on I93, North or South, exit at Pelham Rd, Exit 2 and follow Pilham Rd east for .5 miles. Turn right onto So. Policy St, and Red Roof Lane will be on the right. We are an outside entry facility with King and double rooms. Rooms are comfortable with granite counters, flat screen T.V.s complimentary Wi-Fi and free local and long distance calls in the Continental US. You can also upgrade to our Superior King which includes a mini refrigerator and microwave.
