Local Attractions
A mere 10-minute boat ride away is the Tunku Abdul Rahman Park. The marine park, which comprise of 5 islands, offers the best island-hoping adventure with an extensive sea activities including snorkeling and diving. About 25km away (30 minute drive) is the Lok Kawi Wildlife Park. Made up of two parts - the zoological and the botanical side - the park is just the perfect place to bring children for a fun-day out. Among the inhabitants of the zoo (zoological component) are the Borneo Pygmy elephants, Proboscis monkey, Malayan tiger, as well as some different species of deer. The botanical component, on the other hand; offers visitors the opportunity to go jungle trekking along the botanical trail. Sutera Harbour Resort is a 5-star hotel located in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, Malaysia. Nestled between the shores of the South China Sea and the majestic Mount Kinabalu, the hotel is set on a 384-acre prime seafront land and boasts one of the best sunset views in the world.
The centrepiece of the resort is the Sutera Harbour Marina, Golf and Country Club which includes the 104-berth marina that can accommodate 13 mega-yachts and 91 smaller vessels and the 27-hole Graham Marsh designed championship golf course. Our night golfing facilities enable guests to enjoy 17 hours of golf per day and tee-offs well past sunset.
The resort boasts an impressive inventory of 956 rooms through the 456 rooms found at the resort-style The Magellan Sutera and the 500 rooms found at The Pacific Sutera, a 5-star hotel designed based on a city-style concept.

The Kota Kinabalu International Airport is located 3.2 km (approximately 10-minute drive) away from Sutera Harbour Resort. Hence making the hotel popular with travellers because of its close proximity to the runway.
Local Shuttle Info: Sutera Harbour Resort provides shuttle buses services transporting you to the city center and back. These services start at 10am with the last transport back to the hotel at 9.10pm. City shuttle service tickets are available at the concierge and must be presented upon boarding the bus. The return trip is based on seat availability and is chargeable at (inclusive of 6% GST) RM3.20 for adults and RM1.20 for children 6-12 years old. Complimentary for children under 6 years old (applicable if not occupying a seat). Complimentary internal shuttle service is available from 6am to 1am daily while taxi service is available 24 hours. Shuttle to airport is also available upon request.
