"Great Overnight Stay"

The room was comfortable. We enjoyed the Apple and banana offered. Bed was great and we slept well. We'd stay here again. Oh and the food next door (Casey's) was delicious!

Property description

Super 8 Kenora is the newest motel in the city boasting clean & friendly guest rooms & superior front desk customer service. We are situted on Tunnel Island on Hwy 17 coming in to Kenora. Lake of the Woods is driectly across the street. There are numerous beaches within a 5-10 minute drive from the motel. Downtown Kenora is just a 10 minute walk away along our beautiful greenbelt. Super 8 added a new addidtion in October 2007. A conference & Banquet Facility named "Minis Hall" (Ojiibway for Island) that can accommodate up to 100 people for conferences, banquets, meetings & gatherings. Minis Hall has a full Catering Menu through Casey's Grill & Bar that can handle anything from appetizers, lunches, & full dinners. The hall is Octagonal in shape & is made out of stone, wood, fire & light to pay tribute to our First Nations Hertiage. There are beautiful walking trails right behind the motel for our guests to enjoy. Many other attractions are close by including the MS Kenora, a 190 passenger cruise ship that takes guests on a glorious tour of Lake of the Woods. Reservations can be made at the front desk. Great shopping can be found in Kenora, everything from larger stores to quaint little shops that are unique.
