The rooms were very outdated. They need more amenities and better resort restaurant options as well. Overall, it is in a wonderful location.

Located in Williamsburg, this property is on a former colonial plantation. Colonial Williamsburg is 3 miles from the resort and Busch Gardens is 12 miles away. Amid 256 rolling woodland acres, The Historic Powhatan Resort offers a variety of fun during any season including indoor and outdoor swimming pools, tennis courts, an outdoor pavilion and a playground. Situated on 256 acres, complete with rolling woodlands and 5 small lakes, The Historic Powhatan Resort has a picnic area and a fireplace in the lobby. The resort offers recreational amenities including a 19-hole miniature golf course, indoor and outdoor pools, a spa tub, tennis courts, basketball, volleyball, and a fitness center. There are 3 restaurants and a bar on site, offering both family-friendly home-style cooking and fine-dining contemporary cuisine. This self-catering property has complimentary high-speed Internet access in the business center.
