I stayed overnight twice recently on a round trip from Columbus to Cleveland via the Ohio to Erie trail. Great location, close to and easily accessible from the bike trail. Courteous, competent staff. Astounding water pressure in the shower, clean, comfortable bed and a nice complimentary breakfast in the morning. The hotel was also close to a number of restaurants and the scenic downtown area.This was the least expensive overnight of the four places we stayed and possibly the best bang for the buck. The only slight downside was the room seemed somewhat humid despite the a/c and a slight, non descript odor. Despite this, I would definitely stay there again and recommend it as a good choice when visiting Mt Vernon.

Property Description
This Comfort Inn is located just south of the center of downtown Mt. Vernon. It has 60 beautifully appointed rooms that include two hot tub suites and three kitchenette suites. It has a beautiful indoor pool available to all guests. All rooms have wireless high-speed internet available, as well as HBO, free hot breakfast buffet, and refrigerators/freezers and microwaves in all rooms.
