Property Description
The Sunshine Mountain Lodge is a winter and summer hotel located 8km west of the town of Banff Alberta. Situated high on the continental Divide, this gondola access hotel is truly 7,000 feet above ordinary. Outside the doors of the hotel you can enjoy world class hiking and a Sightseeing Chairlift will take the whole family to the “Top of the World” for an unobstructed 360 degrees view of one of the most outstanding areas in the Banff National Park and the Canadian Rockies. Winter Sunshine Village Ski and Snowboard Resort boasts the longest non-glacial ski season in the Canadian Rockies, receiving up to 9m (30 ft) of snow in its mid-November to late-May season. Located just 15 minutes from the town of Banff and spread over 3,300 acres, the resort is also home to Canada's first heated lift – the TeePee Town LX. In the centre of the village at 2,195m (7,200 ft) you will find the Sunshine Mountain Lodge, Banff's only ski-in, ski-out hotel.
