I stayed for one night so I could get in two beach days. I was a little leary after reading some of the reviews but there was no reason to be! The hotel was a great place to say clean, comfortable and in an awesome location!

The staff members on site were very accommodating and friendly which we appreciated very much. We were able to check in early to change clothes for the wedding we were there to attend in Narrangansett. But I did need to call several to times in advance to double check on whether we could check in early or not. Even though, in the end, we could check in early, we were disappointed upon moving into the first room assigned to us which had a very strong damp, perhaps moldy smell. Thankfully, we were switched immediately as my son had a bit of a sneezing reaction. We had booked for the wedding through Hotels Planner. I would not recommend them. My other recommendation would be to offer a variety of non sweetened cereals and non sweetened breads. The majority of breakfast items were all very sweet and honestly, not exactly healthy. I had the lemon cake and did not eat the frosting but it was pretty sweet all by itself.

This review is like the hotel a waste of time repeating myself. Staff were nice once you could find them. I called the front desk in the morning no answer. Continental breakfast was offered at a significant increase in room rate. (It turned out it was offered when I got there because the restaurant was under construction.) The room had a bathroom that was almost too small to turn around in. NO water pressure to take a shower.

I was very disappointed that you could not supply your guest with room service because there was not enough help. Also, your menu book did not apply to your hotel and there were no prices. You should also have a microwave and refrigerator in the rooms. I thought that the people at the front desk were very nice and helpful. The room was fantastic, nice and clean.

Enjoy a relaxing stay at the Newly renovated Holiday Inn, South Kingstown! 107 guest rooms, a full service restaurant offering breakfast, dinner and full lounge, and a beautiful outdoor pool and patio area. Wireless internet access in included in the rates. Room service is available. Dry cleaning is sent out daily. We are within walking distance to a Subway and Dunkin Donuts shop. Our location is at the intersection of Rte. 138 and Rte. 1 at the Tower. We're conveniently located 9 miles to Newport, 5 miles to the beaches and 4 miles to University of Rhode Island. We are receiving many accolades for our exceptional customer service and welcome the opportunity to host your group at our hotel.
