A friend and I visited the Hotel Chalet for a relaxing getaway to read books and enjoy quiet time. We also love good food, great coffee and wonderful cocktails! The Hotel Chalet delivered with wonderful, personal service, a comfy room and fabulous dining at Elsie's Daughters, the on property restaurant. Our brunch food and drink was superb and so was the service. Everyone from the front desk to the young man who delivered ice to our room to our server at Elsie's was absolutely considerate, personable and professional. The Hotel Chalet location is literally five 10 minute walks from some great restaurants including Niedlov's Bakery, Main Street Meats (has a Michelin star) and Nic and Norman's. Of course, you are right there at the Choo Choo. It was a great discovery for us in so many ways and I m looking forward to my next visit when I can get a hotel room/train car for my lodging. Five stars all the way.
