Surrounded on all sides by precipitous mountains, Mt. Kanchenjunga is the jewel in the crown in its majesty and stupendous glory. This sacred mountain is worshiped as the protecting deity of Sikkim.
WelcomHeritage Denzong Regency is situated within a 10 acre sprawling, century-old, wooded heritage property. Gangtok, the state capital, is a bustling city offering perhaps the best views of the eastern Himalayan Mountain Range. This WelcomHeritage resort offers the finest views of the city and the pristine splendor of the undulating hills, valleys and a myriad streams that course through it, with the towering Kanchenjunga peak in the background.
The hotel is very conveniently located just half a kilometer away from the famous Mahatma Gandhi Marg - the heart of the city. It has 25 well appointed Suites and rooms all with local Sikkimese authentic interiors and has individual private balconies. All Deluxe rooms, Suites and Regency Suites are very spacious, serene, comfortable and have modern amenities. The facilities includes in-house express laundry, chargeable airport / railway station transfers, local transport and sight-seeing arrangements, Wi-Fi Internet accessibility, restaurant and bars, Doctor on call, Utility-souvenir-book shop, business centre and 24 hours room services.
The hotel also has 01 exclusive room for differently abled guest facilitated with wheel chair access, low height bed, peep hole, shower, grab bars, retractable door and audio-visual alarm.
The hotel has two venues for conference and banqueting named Dzomsa and Kursong spread over two floors. Total area would be about 5000 sq. ft. Both together can hold up to 500 guests in theatre style . For local Sikkimese style marriages / receptions which is really for long hours almost from 1100 hrs until 2000 hrs, sometimes we cater up to 1200 guests in a day.
