I was stranded in Philadelphia with my wife, daughter (5) and son (1.5). When we returned from Europe to Philadelphia our connection to Phoenix was cancelled (after sitting on the runway for three hours) We had to sleep in the airport that night as we were told our flight would leave first thing in the morning and there were no hotels within walking distance and we needed car seats to get in a cab. We just decided it would be easier to stay in the airport. When our flight the next morning was canceled and having no other flights available until the following evening, we decided to rent a car and car seats and book a room at the Ritz, as we knew that we'd be taken care of there. We checked in early and spent 30 hours at the hotel receiving wonderful service and treatment from the entire staff. The hotel was a beacon of hope during this stressful time when American Airlines and the staff at the Philadelphia airport were anything but. Thank you Ritz Carlton!
