We found the staff, ambiance and setting to be of a very high, individual standard. The food in the restaurant was excellent and we especially enjoyed our selections from the Japanese menu. The grounds were beautiful. Our rooms were too hot, though and there were one or too tired details such as a fine crack in one sink and a loose bath panel on another. Nevertheless, we would all go back. The staff were uber helpful and the atmosphere very welcoming. Excellent value for money.
