Was attending the comedy ball. Dinner was not as expected. Chilli and coconut soup was not well seasoned and had woody bits in it. The turkey dinner was appalling, the turkey was hard and dry, sprouts over cooked parsnip undercooked. Left most of it as did most of the table we were at. Did enjoy the pudding. Breakfast the next morning was also awful the bacon and sausage were grey looking everything was just tepid. I have stayed here before and it was brilliant. This time a disaster.

I stayed at the hotel for four nights in February 2024. It is grand. My room was comfortable and clean. I loved the shower and bathroom. The staff was accommodating especially the bar staff.
