Property Description
The Inn at Norwood Bed and Breakfast is centrally located in the heart of Historic Sykesville, Maryland. Built in 1906 by the architect J.H. Fowble, the Inn at Norwood is a Colonial Revival home retaining much of its original charm and offers an atmosphere of warmth, tranquility, and elegance. Mr. Fowble built many of the buildings in the town of Sykesville, but he built the Inn as his family's residence. Relax on the front porch overlooking the town, or just snuggle up in the parlor next to our corn burning stove with a good book. The large guest rooms all contain private baths, cable television, DVD & CD players, air conditioning, and Free wireless internet. All our rooms have large Jacuzzi tubs, fireplaces, and the highest quality linens.We are a Great Value compared to a Hotel: Free Calls, Free Wireless Internet, Free Coffee, Tea, Soda, Water and snacks (don't forget the homemade cookies!).The Cottage is the Inn's newest luxury suite, located outside the main house, on the 2nd Floor, above the Secret Garden Room. This 1 Bedroom Apartment is decorated in Old World Charm and has a queen bed, a day bed, an electric fireplace, a large jacuzzi tub, 2 tv's (1 in the bedroom and 1 in the living room), a CD Player with ipod docking station and a DVD Player.
