While the location is good and the lobby looks nice the rooms are tired and the bathrooms have much to be desired all the while they charge a crazy room rate. I would not recommend and will not be back. The staff was terrific no issues there. The property is in need of renovations.

The Hotel 24 South and Conference Center completed a $21.1 million renovation and expansion project in October 2005 which preserves the hotel's historic character while providing guests with modern amenities, services and accommodations. The hotel's complete refurbishment includes 124 deluxe guestrooms comprised of 52 double queen and 72 king rooms, including four suites, a business center, fitness room, indoor pool with whirlpool and guest laundry facilities. One of the key historical and sentimental features of the hotel is its 1924 Wurlitzer Organ, which is a one-of-a-kind musical instrument. The organ, which graced the Hotel's Colonnade Ballroom for three quarters of a century, has been precisely restored to its original condition and tone. At the crossroads of I-64 and I-81, the Hotel 24 South and Conference Center is a scenic drive from all directions including Richmond, VA, Washington, DC and Philadelphia, PA. Located in the stunning Shenandoah Valley near the famed Skyline Drive, the Stonewall Jackson Hotel & Conference Center offers a perfect place for rest and relaxation while taking in the area's superb surroundings and historic offerings.
