Property Description

Family owned and operated, Hotel Ottumwa is Ottumwa's only full service hotel. Conveniently located in historic downtown Ottumwa, the hotel is walking distance from city and county offices, the county museum, and the Amtrak station. The hotel is just minutes from Bridge View Center, "The Beach Ottumwa", and the "Wapello County Trails System" that follow the Des Moines River, taking hikers to remote areas revealing wildlife in its natural habitat. Hotel Ottumwa is just a short drive to the mall with its neighboring shopping centers. Just fifteen minutes from downtown Ottumwa is the location of the Grant Wood's famous "American Gothic".The Second Street Café is directly off the lobby and offers a large menu, buffet and salad bar sure to satisfy every palate. The Tom-Tom Tap, a Native-themed lounge, has cocktails, draft and bottled beer, and a variety of food and beverage specials, in addition to offering the entire restaurant menu.The Hotel Ottumwa offers a variety of room styles to accommodate the modern traveler's needs.
