Only complaint was pool was freezing our second night we ask front desk to turn on heat ( we were there for the invitaional) and the kids wanted pool time so we stayed extra for this. A couple hours later the pool still wa a not heated to comfort so we left the area. Returned in the am for it to be boiling like a sauna. The stay overall was wonderful with the exception of pool condition.

The DoubleTree by Hilton Greensboro is a very nice hotel. It was very clean and I felt very safe. I was traveling alone so that was important to me as a senior female. I cannot see very well at night so once it got dark I needed to stop for the night. This was a random stop in the area, no research done other than searching Google for a place to stop rather sudden and last minute. The staff at the front desk was very nice. She offered complimentary warm cookies and bottled water. The room was very spacious and clean. When I got my shower the next morning I was surprised with no hot water (it was barely room temp). But, I was not bothered by that as I needed the quick jolt to wake up and get moving and back on the road. I did alert the front desk and he let maintenance know so that it could be checked out. He apologized several times but I explained I was not upset over it as I needed the wake up jolt. But I did say the next guest might not be as accepting to the jolt as I was. We both had a good laugh. I would definitely stay here again.
