Property Description
The Doubletree Hotel Greensboro opened its doors in October 2007. This beautiful brand new hotel is conveniently situated just off I-40, and within minutes away from the Greensboro Coliseum & War Memorial Auditorium, Four Seasons Towne Center and a variety of restaurants and stores. It is also just minutes west of downtown Greensboro. The Piedmont Triad International Airport (GSO) is an easy 20-minute drive. Many area colleges such as the University of N.C. Greensboro, North Carolina A&T, Bennett College, Greensboro College or Guilford College are within close proximity. There is easy access to I-85 and all area freeways, and a short drive to High Point or Winston-Salem.
Doubletree's 175 rooms are contemporary styled featuring ultra comfortable Doubletree “Sweet Dreams” beds and modern conveniences like high-speed internet access, alarm clock radio with MP3 and CD player connectivity, and generous work surfaces. This full-service hotel offers room service and casual dining in J. Butlers Bar and Grille, serving breakfast, lunch and dinner daily. Spacious meeting rooms and banquet facilities for up to 300 people are available for business meetings, sales presentations, conferences, seminars or social events.
Business travelers will appreciate the complimentary Business Center and close proximity to office complexes, industrial parks, and major companies. A free USA Today is delivered each weekday morning to each room. There is also a sundry shop located in the lobby for any last minute needs.
