I booked the Omni hotel for the Los Angeles Marathon. My room was ready early, the room itself was nice and clean. The best part was it had both a shower and a bath tub which seems rare these days for hotels. I was able to relax my muscles in a warm bath before the race. The location was great too and near restaurants and a CVS which was great because I forgot a couple of items I needed to purchase. It was near a Farmers Market eating area which had a ton of options and also near a museum and the race shuttle stop was close as well. The hotel was very peaceful and quiet at night, didn't hear any outside noise or noise coming from adjacent rooms, so I was able to get a good night's rest before my big race. The staff were all so nice and accommodating. They were friendly, helpful and I feel went out of their way to assist me. Everyone from the check in staff to the parking attendants were so helpful. They even had coffee, fruit and water for the runners the morning of the race. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend to others.
