I will not be staying at the Red Roof Inn in Utica again. This was my third stay there and I was very disappointed with my room and the clientele staying in the hotel. I was originally put next to a woman who screamed at her boyfriend for hours on end. I asked to be moved the next day and was finally able to get some peace and quiet. The sink counter had sticky spots on it, there was dirty washcloth left hanging over the shower curtain rod, as well as hair stuck to the side of the bathtub and dirt on the floor. When I first arrived, I had to step over a good amount of piled up snow for each trip from my car to my room and the parking lot wasn't plowed well. The coffee creamer in the office area is the powder kind rather than liquid creamer and my second room had no coffee maker in it. I'm done with the Red Roof Inn.

The staff here are exceptional. They greet me and know me. However, the TV's do not work and I am not sure I will keep using this property. The rates have increased considerably are comparable w/ other properties in the area anymore and no doubt the equipment works.

The 100% smoke-free Red Roof Inn Utica offers flat screen TVs in all rooms and is conveniently located just off of I-90 at Exit 31. In addition, the inn is easily accessed from Route 12 N. Our front desk team is great at giving directions—please contact the inn for assistance if necessary. Please note that we have a very long driveway in which the city has called Weaver Street, but N. Genesee Street matches the address in GPS units. When you check in Red Roof Inn Utica, check out the fantastic new amenities in our newly-renovated rooms! The rooms at this 100% smoke-free inn feature new, comfy Rest Suite beds by Serta, new high-end bedding, new flooring and a large, flat screen TV. All rooms at this Red Roof offer free Wi-Fi. One well-behaved family pet is welcomed. Utica is in the center of New York State which makes it a perfect stopping point for many. You'll find world-class entertainment, restaurants to suit your taste, events and activities for kids and couples, golfers and gamers, history buffs and art lovers, fishermen (and women), snowmobilers, shoppers, sports enthusiasts, bird watchers and just about everyone.
