The Suburban Extended Stay of Avondale is one of those properties that can be an oasis in the desert for a weary traveler. It's not fancy, the rooms are on the small side, and they don't have fancy bells and whistles. What they DO have is a clean room, courteous staff, and great value. The area is considered safer than New Orleans East. Many groups want to experience New Orleans without pinching their wallets. Bus tours, senior groups, school groups and especially work crews will do well to consider the Suburban Extended Stay. It is only 30 minutes from downtown.
