The htoel is a few miles east of UNCC and sits off WT Harris Blvd. It is a quiet and remote area with plenty of easily accessible parking. The entrance has two small lobby's and a security door for evenings. Breakfast is not included because each room has a fully equipped kitchen. All 122 rooms have one king sized bed with pull-out sleeper sofa, handicapped rooms available. The rooms are nicely appointed in neutural colors whites and beige. The kitchen area is extremly nice with black cabinets, microwave, refrigerator, and 2 burner flat top surface stove. Includes all dishes and cooking utinsels. The room is very spacious and extremely clean, with good lighting. The hotel has the Candlewood Pantry in which you can purchase snacks and additional items for extended stays. In the same area is complimentary laundry facilities and an exercise room. The exercise equipment is a little older, but I was told it will be getting replaced in the near future. Although there are not any restaurants within walking distance, there are many options just a short drive away. All rooms are non-smoking, and the hotel does have designated pet rooms. No weight restrictions but there is a non-refundable deposit. Overall I give this hotel a very high rating for an extended stay hotel. It was very nicely appointed, in a serene area which is easy to get in and out of.
