The Maynard is a privately owned boutique hotel and restaurant, ideally situated in the heart of the beautiful Peak District, only a short drive away from Sheffield. The Maynard enjoys a superb location, and guests can stroll through Padley Gorge just minutes walk from the hotel and take in the stunning scenery.
Close to world famous Peak District attractions, including Chatsworth House, Blue Johns Cavern, and the quaint country villages of Hathersage, Bakewell and Hope. The Maynard entices guests from all over who have travelled here to enjoy this spectacular setting and comfortable surroundings.
The hotel has been decorated in a contemporary style, whilst incorporating its original features, to ensure the history of the building is not lost.
Our two AA rosette restaurant overlooks the gardens and beautiful countryside, boasting award winning food, which is all locally sourced and freshly prepared by our team of chefs. Our informal bar serves traditional pub classics and snacks as well as some excellent local draught ales, which are popular with walkers.
The fabulous accommodation offers luxury and comfort to guests which make The Maynard one of the best places to stay whatever type of break your looking for. Our larger upgraded bedrooms offer guests stunning views of the countryside. The hotel also allows dogs in some of its bedrooms and our bar area.
