When I checked in I asked if a river view and higher floor was available and it was for $29, which was, to me, a very good deal, so I took it. The room was nicely appointed with a balcony overlooking Lady Bird Lake. The view was amazing and at night when all the buildings lite up was gorgeous. I enjoyed my stay very much. The staff were very nice and helpful when needed.

Love the decor, the remodel is amazing and modern. The staff was great. The bar area is beautiful. Shop Downstairs was convenient. The location is to everything is awesome. Loved my time there and I'll absolutely come back.

Great property. Self parking is an insult. The cost is absurd and valet takes most of the spots and is not even close to full. I have had a problem with the cost for years. I know Hyatt doesn't own the garage but that excuse is weak. That means nothing to this guest because it's the one the guests use. The price seems to go up every time lm here. I will continue to stay here and continue to be disappointed in the exorbitant charge for parking.

Property Description

The Hyatt Regency Austin is conveniently located on Town Lake within walking distance to downtown Austin. We are six blocks from the infamous 6th Street entertainment District and four blocks from the Warehouse District. Right outside our hotel's back entrance is the 9 mile hike 'n' bike trail that encircles Town Lake. Downtown is home to many ecclectic shop and restaurants sure to please any individual traveler. South Congree Avenue, the State Capitol, and Bob Bullock museum are also favorites among our guests.

Green Sustainability

4/5 Green Keys Hyatt Regency Austin is proud to have been the first building in Austin with a compost pulper in our kitchen. Recycling is also important to the hotel which offers recycling bins in each guest room and in lobby and meeting space.
