We had to change rooms twice after checking in due to minor technical issues, but the staff was very gracious and accommodating. We got a larger room with a king bed. The one negative aspect was the hot tub. The water was cloudy and foul smelling yet, I saw children playing it for two days. Another guest said she was told that there was a problem with a pipe that was scheduled for repair. So why was it open? (It was drained after I informed the front desk.) Other than that, it was a nice stay. Again, the staff was great and very helpful at all times.

The hotel staff were friendly, helpful and accommodating. We were upgraded to a suite when check in took a bit longer than usual. We had a delicious and affordable meal in the on site bar/restaurant, which had lots of tvs and great atmosphere. The room was spacious and the bead was very comfortable. We'll definitely stay there again when in the Chicago area.

The renovated room was beautiful, spacious and very functional. The mini kitchen (microwave, mini fridge, sink and lots of cabinets) was unexpected, but exceedingly welcome. Next time, we will be able to bring our own food to save a little more money. The sitting area/fold out couch is great for groups with many travelers and it made the room feel more like home instead of everyone trying to sit on the bed. There were lots of our favorite stores in the area too, right down the street. Not too far from downtown, but far enough to be out of the main bustle and traffic. We will definitely be back.
