About your property Placed in the heart of historical San Telmo, the Hotel Bolivar was builded in 1890. With tall roofs and wide ambiences, marble stairs, molding details and antique furniture. The hostel occupies three floors acceded by stairs. On the first floor there is a spacious common kitchen, a lounge/bar and ensuite rooms that surround the courtyards. In the second and third plant you can find private and also shared rooms, different with balcony to the street or with window to the interior for a major calmness. All of them share bathrooms in excellent conditions that stay clean constantly. Each room is functional and in great conditions, in adition the dorms have lockers to storage your belongings. In Hotel Bolivar we also have rooms with fridges,, electric oven, tv and rerigerators for longer stays. The hotel has a roof terrace, 2 courtyards and common livingrooms with Wi-Fi access where guests can socialize and feel comfortable. We also have a computer with internet at your disposal. The lounge bar located in the first floor is open to public and has a TV screen where you can watch national and international sports or movies. This hall is also used to present art exhibitions, provide group classes and craft fair, where all the guests are welcome to take part. To give you a much more complete experience of Buenos Aires, we offer spanish classes every monday! If you want to make your Buenos Aires tours simpler, you can rent bicycles from the hotel or enjoy the free city tours that we offer. Also we can give you a SUBE card, wich can be used to pay the passage in public transportation like buses, subways and trains. The staff of the hotel will be of great help, they can book you tickets for tango shows, soccer games, among other events. What we emphasize is that you know Buenos Aires like us, in the way in wich true “porteños” live it, enjoying the city and it's multiple activities without expensive tours. Location Information With excellent location, 3 blocks from Plaza Dorrego and 7 blocks from downtown, we are placed in the historical center of Buenos Aires. San Telmo is one of the most important and traditional neighborhoods in the city with beautiful churches, antique shopping centers, all kind of restaurants and sorrounded by a special energy, typical of this famous city area. Also having easy access to any part of Buenos Aires. For those further places such as the Zoo, the Botanic Garden, The Japanese Garden, Plaza Serrano and others, we have the closeness of several means of transportation like the subway and diferent buses. How to arrive? From Ezeiza International Airport take the bus Nº8 From Jorge Newbery Airport take the bus Nº 33 or 45 From Retiro bus station take the bus Nº 22, 17, 28, 33, 45 or 152. From Buquebus station take the bus Nº 22, 17, 28, 33, 45 or 152. Subway: We are 5 blocks from the subway's Independencia station, lines C and E. Also we are 7 blocks from the Catedral station, lines A and D. Taxi: We can arrenge a service with a taxi company to pick you up, pleas send us an e-mail.
