The Dorovinis Country Houses comprises two luxury vacation houses-PASIPHAE and SMARAGDA- and one meeting/ reception lounge- AMALTHEIA- in the village of Anatoli in Southeastern Crete, Greece. The properties have been recently restored with the personal air and character of leisure homes of the Cretan countryside.
Artistically restored and furnished with stylish furniture, they combine the lost qualities of traditional home architecture with modern facilities and luxury.
PASIPHAE HOUSE is a country mansion of 185 m2, enclosing a 60m2 courtyard with a 100m2 top terrace It can accommodate 8 persons in 5 main rooms, 3 of which are double bedrooms, a sitting room with fireplace, a dining room with two couch-beds, a spacious kitchen, and 2 bathrooms. All rooms open either to the courtyard or the terrace and capture views of the sea (except of the smallest double bedroom).
SMARAGDA HOUSE is a medium sized country house of 56m2 that opens to a side courtyard of 17m2 and a 40m2 top terrace with stunning views to the sea. It can accommodate up to 4 persons, with 2 main rooms, kitchen and bathroom. The large, oblong sitting room is equipped with a stylish couch that easily converts into a double bed.
The houses are located in individual lots in the historic center of the village, which has been listed as “traditional” and as one of “The 10 most beautiful villages of Crete” by a European Network.
The village, folding down a slope behind the city of Ierapetra, is dating from Venetian times. Having kept its architectural and agricultural character is renowned for its healthy climate (dry and cool in summer, warm and sunny in winter), peaceful environment and splendid views to the sea.
The location is ideal for all season's vacation, amidst a green and sculptured rocky environment of outstanding natural beauty, that offers peace and tranquility of mind and senses, while being in short distance from some of the most beautiful, sandy-blue flag- beaches of Crete. At 12 km the city of Ierapetra offers all facilities and activities of a big city (shops, supermarkets, banks, doctors, water front esplanade with restaurants and cafes, archaeological Collection, organized beach etc).
Daily cultural excursions to archaeological sites, Byzantine and Venetian monuments as well as to Natural Monuments can be combined with swimming in sandy beaches and picturesque gulfs

The Coffee-Restaurant Lounge AMALTHEIA is a unique space, lavishly furnished and with exquisite detailing, that operates by appointment. It has a total interior area of 120m2 and can accommodate approximately 55 persons in interior spaces and 80 in outdoor (terraces). It is ideal for small conference groups and business meetings. It consists of two oblong interconnected rooms on the ground level, with a capacity of 12 persons each around conference tables, and one other room on the upper level with a capacity of 30 persons. It is located on the Old Market Street-the social and commercial center of past times- now deserted, and close to the upper main road and to small chapels and churches that are dispersed in the village, gathering a lot of people during local celebrations and festivities.
Apart from the spaces described, it has a reception lobby, a bar, toilets and kitchen, as well a small courtyard in front. An exterior stone stair leads to 100 m2 of terraces with an open bar, capturing stunning views to the sea . It has been professionally equipped with modern appliances for its use as a luxury Coffee-Restaurant House (oven, refrigerators, freezers, dishwashers, ice makers, refrigerator-display units, etc.) and disposes expensive and stylish crockery-china for serving 100 people.The existing Lounge, although built for commercial use, has been restored with exquisite details and furnished with stylish and unique furniture pieces, acquiring the air and character of a luxury house of the Cretan countryside.
