"VERY DISAPPOINTED UPON ARRIVAL AND BEYOND."

RESERVATION WAS INCORRECT. I BOOKED AN ADA ROOM AS MY WIFE CANNOT CLIMB STAIRS (SHE IS LEGALLY ADA CERTIFIED). IN FACT I CALLED THE PROPERTY TWICE BEFORE MY ARRIVAL TO ENSURE THE ROOM WAS ADA ON GROUND LEVEL. UPON ARRIVAL THE CLERK HAD US IN A 2ND FLOOR ROOM WITH NO ELEVATOR! THE CLERK WAS VERY UNFRIENDLY AND SAID HE WOULD TRY TO FIND SOMETHING TO WHICH I STATED IT WAS NOT OPTIONAL. HE ALSO INDICATED THERE WOULD BE A RESORT FEE AND PARKING FEE WHICH I WAS NEVER TOLD ABOUT TOTALING $400+. THE ROOM GIVEN WAS VERY DIRTY. BATHROOM MOLDY WITH A RUSTY BATHTUB SO A BATH WAS OUT OF THE QUESTION, CARPET FILTHY WITH CRUMBS AND DIRT. THERE WAS NO BLANKET IN THE ROOM AND THE ONE DELIVERED WAS NOT WRAPPED AND WAS CARDBOARD STIFF. OUTSIDE THE DOOR JUST OFF THE SIDEWALK WAS A TRAY FULL OF OLD USED DISHES AND FOOD AND REMAINED THERE FOR three DAYS! THE NEXT MORNING I WALKED THE PROPERTY AND STOPPED IN THE LOBBY TO SEEK SOME INFORMATION. THE YOUNG GIRL AT THE DESK WAS COUGHING AND SNEEZING AND WAS VERY CURT AND UNFRIENDLY. I NOTICED A TABLE WITH CUPS ETC AND ASKED IF SHE HAD COMPLIMENTARY COFFEE TO WHICH SHE CURTLY ANSWERED WE DON'T DO COFFEE! AS A FORMER BUSINESS OWNER AND PRESIDENT OF A LARGE COMPANY, WE TRAVEL FREQUENTLY AND THUS FAR I WAS QUITE SHOCKED WITH "THE DANA". THE EVENING BEFORE CHECKOUT, I ASKED FOR A LATE CHECKOUT. THE CLERK SAID HE COULD NOT ACCOMMODATE AND I WOULD NEED TO CHECK IN THE MORNING. AND WHEN I CALLED THE NEXT MORNING I GOT THE SAME RESULTS. IN FACT THE CLERK STATED THEY WERE AT 90% AND COULD NOT APPROVE THE LATE CHECK OUT FROM 1100 TO NOON. IN FACT HOUSEKEEPING NEVER GOT TO OUR ROOM BEFORE 1230 BUT HE STILL WOULD NOT APPROVE THE REQUEST. OVERALL, AS YOU CAN SEE, THIS WAS A VERY DISAPPOINTING STAY AT WHAT WE THOUGHT WOULD BE A CLASSY PLACE. IT WAS NOT! IT WAS AT THE POINT WHERE I WANTED TO SEEK A PARTIAL REFUND OR SOME SORT OF ACCOMMODATION FOR THE VERY UNSATISFACTORY STAY. I think it was way overpriced plus having to pay $25 for parking and $38 for resort amenities I didn't even use. My relatives stayed at Paradise point and got free parking passes. You should've at least gave one free parking pass. I won't stay here again.

Room is spacious for 2. Beds are really comfortable. Bathroom is dated, but it didn't really bother me. Having activities within the compound is a plus. I like their Dive in movie. $20 parking fee does not bother me, either. Parking is safe. Staff is friendly.

The grounds are beautiful and tropical. The room was very nice, however, there is no sound proofing, I could hear the person in the next room snoring and I could hear people coming in late at night, it was so loud it sounded like they were in the room with me.
