Our location is great; we're close to Hoyts movie theatres, St Bedes College, Papanui gym and pool, Northlands Mall and Northwood and Merivale shopping centres, Burwood Hospital and the beach. Costas Greek Restaurant, Joe's Garage and the Lone Star Bar & restaurant are just 2 of the many eateries that surround us and we're one of the closest motels to the Papanui Workingmen's Club. Good proximity to the Antarctic Centre, Orana Park, Willowbank, Ko Tane Maori Village, Clearwater, Pegassus and Waitekere golf courses and many first class wineries. 90 minute drive to major ski fields.

Welcome to the Garden City Motel, highly recommended by recent Trip Advisor reviews for excellent customer service and fondly known as “home away from home” to our many returning guests. We are kiwi owned and operated. We are also a pet friendly hotel - please ask. Young at heart, slightly older in other places - we offer 8 large spacious, self contained units, with full cooking facilities, including full ovens, microwaves and fridge/freezers, electric blankets, 42" plasma TVs, 6 Sky channels and all the other free-to-air TV channels, super king beds, heat pumps/air conditioning, outdoor seating areas, well lit off street parking. Sunny units and all are smoke-free. Laundry facilities available, free use of BBQ. Two smaller units are available being a Small Queen Studio and King Studio unit. We have 2 two bedroom units, 6 one bedroom units (including 2 wheelchair access units)and 2 studio units. Serviced daily to a high standard - why don't you come and experience for yourself the many reasons why people love to stay here! With our compliments: freeunlimited wifi, free local and national phone calls and free parking. Great for business or pleasure. Being set back from the road, the motel offers genuinely quiet units allowing for a great sleep, while the main road offers the convenience of public transport. Members of the Motel Association NZ. Short and long term guests welcome. EQC enquiries welcome also.
