The Orlando Hotel is committed to a healthy green environment and asks that all of our guests join us in our efforts to conserve our earth’s natural resources.The towels left on the floor will be changed each day. However, the towels left on the rack, shower rod, or robe hook will let us know that the guest will re-use them.The amount of water used to wash The Orlando Hotel bed sheets is rather significant over a year’s time. By changing the sheets every third day, we will save approximately 134,000 gallons of water annually. Not to mention the decrease amount of chemicals used/ released into the environment as a result.We are also currently working with “Clean the World” where we recycle the used soaps, shampoos, conditioners, body wash and lotions. Clean the World has a two part mission, first collect and recycle soap and hygiene products discarded every day by the hospitality and other sectors that generate environmental waste. Through the distribution of these other donated products to impoverished people, prevent millions of hygiene-related deaths each year reduce the morbidity rate for hygiene-related illnesses, and encourage vigorous childhood development.
