Close to where i needed to be for family gatherings and casino lots to see and do.

We enjoyed fine Mexican cuisine at the Plaza. Tram ride at Sandia Crest was great, hiking to Sandia Cave also a good adventure. We loved the clear skies and clean air of the mountains. We also loved the arts, crafts and Zuni dancing at the Pueblo Cultural Center. We went on a childhood memory drive to Ernie Pyle Memorial Library, Bandelier Elem, Wilson Jr. High, Highland High School, and homes I had lived in the Southeast Heights. We also drove by Kirtland AFB, my family's initial location in ABQ.

Albuquerque has terrific restaurants and breweries. The weather is generally great and there are some interesting sights to see.
We enjoyed the local food and went to El Pinto for one of our dinners. What a treat that was! And such a beautiful venue. We also were able to go to the Albuquerque zoo and bio Park, which was also quite nice. Albuquerque has so much to offer.
Easy to get around in this city. Love the southwest.

I grew up in Albuquerque and of course it has changed but the cool NM vibe is still there. We love going out for the amazing NM food! While there we ate at El Pinto, Tomasitas and take out from the classic El Modelo. We went shopping for bolo ties at Palms Trading Post on Lomas. Some of us went to Old Town to walk around. I love the land art around Albuquerque like the giant pots around the I-40 and I-25 junction. I grew up with the Sandia Mountains watching over me and it's always wonderful to see them again - can't forget the lovely sunsets!
Here as my oldest son is at Lovelace Heart Hospital - open heart surgery.
The balloon museum is great! The Sheraton was better than La Quinta when we stayed there in the past.

We had events at the track near the convention center. Downtown was clean, had great shops and plenty of spaces to park.
The tram is a short distance from the casino and hotel, and it's only 20 bucks to ride up to the top of the mountain and get beautiful views while you travel over gorgeous valleys. The view from the top is breathtaking.
Take a trip to Ex Novo… great micro with great staff and food options.

As a former resident of five years, I love Albuquerque. The food of New Mexico is unique, and ABQ has more delicious places to enjoy it than anywhere else. To me Albuquerque means the history of Old Town and Route 66, enjoying the Sandias from the Tram or a drive up to Sandia Crest, the Natural History Museum, the State Fair, the Biopark, and catching a Topes game in the summer or watching the Lobos play football or basketball.
Near by restaurants, Overall great experience. The Pueblo Cultural Center was a great experience.
