I am down once a year from Ontario, my third year with you, and 23rd year coming. I attend a workshop for a week, but love the city so have to have a few days just to visit.
The hotel is directly across from the Public Gardens, which are a total delight. Spring Garden Road on the left has one amazing surprise after another. Also the hotel is walking distance to Citadel Hill, where history comes alive.

We are from Halifax, and we're having a staycation, and for the first time went on the evening cruise 🚢 on the Silva. It was a blast! Great entertainment, where all the passengers got involved … I even helped raise one of the masses. The Bicycle Thief, SeaSmoke, Water Polo, and the Five Fishermen, were all top notch 👍👍. Loved the Cornish hen, at the Five Fishermen … so delicious 😋.

Halifax has changed quite a bit from when I was younger and for the better! The downtown scene is hopping at night and by day getting around by feet or bicycle is the best choice. A very beautiful city with lots to do and it's no longer a small little city it is growing exponentially and with great promise.

Halifax was amazing this trip. The buildings, services and shops that have filled in in the downtown and waterfront made hanging out there a pleasant experience. The waterfront atmosphere was great with the help of warm weather, cruise ships visiting and Fleet Week on with the Canadian Navy, UK Navy and USA Navy in port.

The city has a ton of history for tourists to explore. The Citadel, Museum of Immigration and the Maritime Museum to name a few, were very interesting.
Halifax has a lot of adult events and attractions.
