This hotel was unexpected and was absolutely delightful. The location was perfect, with many wonderful restaurants within walking distance. It is also near the famous Carmella's Coffee Bar, which I frequented daily. This hotel was charming and the rooms were spacious and very clean, with comfortable bedding and high end linens. There was an espresso machine in my room. Even the key was adorable! The butler service was phenomenal and I felt like royalty there. Two employees really stood out Will, a butler; and Katy in the bar. Both were wonderful to talk to and extremely attentive and helpful. I was in Charleston on business, but had such a great time that I plan to return for a vacation. Of course, I will be staying at the Spectator.
