When staying at Grand Sierra Resort my room did not have any hot water from 4/25 4/26. No hot water isn't what I paid for. I requested a full refund form the hotel and they can only provide a refund on resort fees for both days. The hotel said to contact you for a refund on the two days for the room. They said they are unable to refund directly and you are able to do it as they agreed. Thanks!

When we arrived we had no water (9th floors and above) when we did get water it was brown for about five minutes. One family member had no hot water. AND another had no door on the bathroom. Our refrigerator was out of the cupboard on the floor. Was very noisy and froze drinks. There was NO notifications of anything. We would need to stand in a long line to complain and then just offered a food voucher for one meal. And we asked/told our housekeeping to just give us towels and NOT enter our room. They did anyway and charged us $2 a day for housekeeping that we specified not to have. The cost we paid for the resort services (?) were way too much for what was not given. I will not stay there again.

Our family spent three days at the Grand Sierra Resort & Casino. The room was modern and clean, the service was a 10/10 and the restaurants were all great.

The rooms were perfect! A lot of hotels I've been staying at post Covid have provided ONE pillow per person and our room had TWO per person with extra throw pillows which made it so cozy and comfortable! Amenities like gym and spa and late night dining is what we value when we travel so we were very happy with our stay.

At checkout there were hidden charges. I showed the person my contract which showed no additional charges yet it cost me 143.00 more. The restaurant although nice atmosphere provided semi good food for very high prices. The buffet alone was over 90.00 for two older people who won't eat more than two plates. Room was very nice. Maid service was excellent however once again you're charged at checkout for tips. We weren't informed of that and left substantial tip in the room.

We like staying at GSR. Our visits have always been pleasurable. This last visit was not as pleasant for some reason the alarm clock in our room and the room next door was set for 6 am. I could shut ours off, however, the neighboring rooms alarm rang over 10 minutes. I called the service desk and they shut it off.

GSR is very generous with free play, very clean and comfortable rooms. Must say my past visits I enjoyed my limited time on the slots with a very good feeling I would win a little here and there making for a fun experience. I understand the odds are with the house but an occasional win made it all exciting! This trip was the total opposite for me, never felt that excitement just kept pouring money in with only a very small number of wins and seldom won even money on my bet. Getting in a bonus only happened a handful of times and two times won nothing in the bonus round. Winning will keep people coming back, not winning certainly takes the excitement out of your stay making a return trip difficult to get excited about.

I travel to Reno 12 times a year. 75% of the time I stay at GSR. My room was very nice as usual. Pillows were comfy, but the mattress was terrible. Absolutely no support. Must be either cheap mattress that was without any reasonable support or just an older mattress. I had trouble getting a good nights sleep. Good to see that Grand Cafe is now run much better. Better food and better service.

I know it's a casino, so maybe this review doesn't make sense, but it smells so so bad in there. Even in the non smoking room, you can smell the trace of people's nasty cigarettes. Just disgusting. I can't believe people still smoke like it's the 1930s.

The girl who checked me in was so so nice and very accommodating. Even though it was busy, she went out of her way to fulfill my requests and answer my questions. The room is so nicely cleaned each day! The service everywhere here has been excellent! Thanks for the great service. I am a swimmer which is why the pool water is a big priority for me.

We were placed in our room then called and told we had to move b/c our room needed deep cleaning. When moved to new room, soiled furniture and desk top observed and we were placed right nxt to elevator. Move to 3rd room was away from elevator and room was cleaner. Questions about $45 resort fee? Was not advised and we did not use pool or pool amenities either day of our stay. Smoking slot machine too close to non/smoking and 2x as big. Impossible to get away from smoke. ⁉️when cashing winnings voucher, change less than $1, not disbursed. Advised to donate to charity which was the GSR. Im sure that adds up from all who do not pay attention. To collect less than $1, finally learned after inquiring w/3 employees, we had to visit a cashier to obtain. Seems like a scam to me.
