Informed by the traditions that have made the LES the city's most intriguing neighborhood, the hotel's industrial design is complemented with the works of some of America's most influential artists. Each room features a custom designed lightbox by Lee Friedlander, the lobby showcases the work of legendary painter Peter Halley, and the base of the pool displays a portrait of Andy Warhol by his muse and confidant, Gerard Malanga. Conceptually designed by Ed Rawlings Architects and Dodd Mitchell Design, with interiors by Jim Walrod of Murphy & Dine, the hotel embodies the ultimate in clean, industrial New York style. A private outdoor bar provides sweeping views of downtown Manhattan. The 18 story hotel is topped by two SIXTY Suites and a signature bi-level SIXTY Loft, and also houses a fine dining restaurant- Blue Ribbon Izakaya.
