The Hilton Scranton & Conference Center is located in downtown Scranton just steps away from many attractions and nightlife. Upon entering the hotel you will be transported to a historic era with beautiful marble flooring, grand staircase and local artwork all over the lobby. If you are hungry or thirsty to your left is a Starbuck's kiosk, P.J.'s Pub in the evening until 2am on weekends, Trolley's Bistro for breakfast featuring a huge breakfast buffet and Casey's Corner, windows and historical feel for lunch and dinner or private parties. To the right you will see the front desk, gift shop and down the hallway newly renovated indoor saline pool and fitness center. The newly renovated guest rooms feature modern décor, flat panel TVs, full length mirrors, comp WIFI and refrigerators. Located on the 2nd floor of the hotel is 26,000 sq. ft of flexible event space as well as an in-house catering team to provide scrumptious menus; great for all occasions especially conventions,
weddings or a family gathering. The entire staff was professional and I would recommend this hotel to any traveler whether on business or leisure.

Room was clean and quiet. Cleanup for the second day of our stay was limited. Breakfast at the restaurant after the first night was marginal. The only complaint I have was with the third party booking service that pops up in a google search. I attempted to find the hotel's direct line to make the booking and couldn't find it! When I went to extend the stay from one day to two, the third party contact WAS NO HELP WHATSOEVER a function of the fact that I wasn't dealing with the same booking firm. That is not the kind of service I expect with Hilton. I want to be able to deal with the hotel directly.

We made the mistake of making our reservation through Booking.com for our stay in Scranton. We were pulling a boat and traveling with pets for a one night stay. Booking.com assured us there was plenty of parking for the truck and boat. On our arrival, we realized it was a parking deck and not compatible with a boat! Tyler checked us in and he was fantastic! He worked out parking for us in a parking lot close by and reassured me that the Hilton could take care of us. I told him that is why I like to stay at Hilton Hotels and I am a rewards member. He eased my anxiety and made sure we were comfortable with our pups. Our room was comfortable and clean. Plenty of restaurants nearby and a park to walk the dog. We had a drink at the bar that night and again, great service!

We were met by the entrance attendant was very helpful and polite. Check in pleasant and quick. Parking was the only item that was a little confusing but with the help entrance attendant it was not bad but not great. Room was great. The view out our window was filled with roof top units.
