With a stunning view over the waters of the River Tejo this unit account as background the impressive Castle of Belver, creating one of the most beautiful areas of rest, leisure and tranquillity in Portugal.
The River Beach of Alamal, 20 meters from the Alamal River Club, offers all the facilities of a traditional beach. Composed of sand, beach bar, nautical activities and surveillance during the period of the bathing season. The encircle the beach is the Alamal Farm, on this Farm, where you enter the Alamal River Club, there are several areas of rest and tranquility for the periods of greatest heat, the fount of the Lizard, a fount with mineral water, trails for short walks, two water tanks and a grassy area for picnics.
A little more than 1h30m from Lisbon and 2 hours from the Oporto, the Alamal River Club, in Gavião, offers the possibility to enjoy a range of activities, including cultural, nature, nautical, entertaining and many others. The Castle of Belver, on the right bank of the river is part of an architectural complex which includes the Almourol Castle and the Castle of Amieira Tagus, easily accessible from the Alamal River Club.
